Guangming Public Service

Guangming Public Service is a government office and public service building in Shenzhen, China. The building is divided into two blocks with distinct forms. The upper rectangular volume contains offices, while the lower block holds a public service hall with an undulating roof shaped like a mountain range. Two small hills on the site are preserved, which reduces excavation and extends the surrounding green landscape. The plan avoids the enclosed layout that is common in Chinese government buildings. The design follows a green development mode with low impact.

Woodland

Wandering in the Woods is a kindergarten interior designed for children aged two to six. The original building had limited space and relied heavily on artificial light. For reasons of structural stability and cost, the design keeps the entire structure and inserts an atrium that runs vertically through three stories, so all classrooms receive natural light from both sides. Columns become trees and beams become bridges. Continuous stairs and slides spiral around the columns and connect the spaces. Tree houses offer quiet areas for reading and handwork.

Puer Community

Puer Community is a real estate sales center located in Pu'er, Yunnan, China, an area known for tea culture. The interior covers 2,700 square meters beneath a roof 10 meters high. The building has a curled tea leaf shape and glass exterior walls. Inside, a suspended wooden installation shaped like a tea leaf runs through the space, acting as the visual focus and guiding the functional layout. Sunlight passing through the glass roof meets the wooden structure and creates changing patterns of light and shadow.

Cloud of Luster

The Cloud of luster is a wedding chapel located inside a wedding ceremony hall in Himeji city, Japan. The design tries to translate the modern wedding ceremony spirit into physical space. The chapel is all white, a cloud shape enveloped almost entirely in curved glass opening it to the surrounding garden and water basin. The columns are toped in hyperbolic capital like heads smoothly connecting them to the minimalistic ceiling. The chapel socle on the basin side is a hyperbolic curve allowing the whole structure to appear as if it is floating on the water and accentuate its lightness.

Hill Wind

Hill Wind is a resort hotel located in Anji County, Huzhou. The external form follows modern architectural thinking, with geometric cloud shapes drawn from the origami concept and extended into irregular volumes. A white membrane material is joined to these forms through structural changes. Inside, a narrow entrance passage creates a deep sense of space, and a continuously flowing ceiling is shaped and stitched by craftsmen. Bamboo and wood from the Anji area are used as building materials. The project covers 3500 square meters and echoes the surrounding natural landscape.

Z Line House

Z Line House is a private house located in Semarang, Indonesia. The design uses a parametric system to shape both the geometry and the structure. A series of calculated, sculptural interventions defines the facade, while the interior spaces are planned for fluid transitions in both horizontal and vertical directions. The geometry is optimized to control water flow during the heavy rainfall of the tropical climate. A detailed solar study guided the eastern and western facades, and the openings follow view axes, occupant height and the even distribution of natural light.
