FengYuan Original

It’s a space design for a restaurant which serves coconut water hotpot. They abstracted the shape of coconut trees to a symbol-palm leaf and built it in 4-meter-long, 8 different shapes by green plated, mirror polished stainless steel. They rearranged and planted 475 metal leaves purposely into the space, the entire restaurant turned into a beautiful installation art. They also designed water feature, lighting, tables to enhance people's resonance. By using single material, factory pre-make-install, the cost and construction time is well controlled.

Wuhan Pixel Box Cinema

“Pixel” is the basic element of images, designer explores relationship of movement and pixel to become the theme of this design. “Pixel” is applied in different areas of the cinema. The box office grand hall houses a tremendous curved envelop formed by over 6000 pieces of stainless steel panels. The feature display wall is decorated with huge amount of square strips protruding from the wall is presenting the glamorous name of cinema. Inside this cinema, everyone would enjoy the great atmosphere of digital world generated by the cohesion of all “Pixel” elements.

MRC Vison

The design of Marche Vison was rooted in an effort to preserve an authentic mountain experience whilst ensuring accessibility for wheelchair and pushchair users. The structure, divided into four buildings, incorporates tiered platforms connected with ramps, maintaining the fun of a trail-like stroll and the fluidity of the view. This upward movement, from the terrain to the expansive roofs, encourages the gaze upwards. A distinctive aspect of this design is the continuous eaves running across the buildings, creating a long cascading curtain of rain, promoting a deeper connection with nature.

Muji Eco-pavilion in Emptiness

In 2023, during the China International Import Expo, Atelier Forth Force specially designed a pavilion consisting of 7,524 interlocking wooden components. That was the exclusive pavilion for Muji, dedicated to the brand spirit: Nature, Naturally and Muji. Throughout the 6 day exhibition, as the pavilion wall transitioned from existence to non existence, 1,254 visitors to the Muji pavilion took away the screen system. Following the dismantling of the wall, the wooden components would be reassembled into a set of storage systems suitable for home use.

Nanbu Eye

Located by the Jialing River, this gymnasium achieves harmony, openness and interaction with nature. The design is carried out from the three core concepts of earthscape, integration and openness. The overall project is conceived as an earthscape, just like a picture scroll in one stroke along the Jialing River. The city and nature are merged together, the architecture and landscape are integrated, a continuous spatial sequence is formed along the waterfront.
