A Pocket Park
A Pocket Park is an office interior of 170 square meters located in the Minsheng community in Taipei. The building line is set back so that a former private courtyard becomes a small public garden. Monochrome natural materials, including stone, concrete and granite, are combined with warm toned wood to extend the nearby urban park into the neighborhood. The walls are covered with natural stone, plants and a waterfall. A Chinese fringe tree stands in the central area, surrounded by a linear pool, and gives dappled shade. The space is shared by office users and local residents.
